FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW MUCH DOES A MURAL COST?
Each mural is priced per project, not just by size. Design style, detail, surface, and location, all play a role. Quotes are always custom and will always take your budget into account when details are being determined.
CAN YOU HELP ME FIGURE OUT THE DESIGN?
ABSOLUTELY.
I will create a custom concept based on your vision and the best use of the space. The goal is to get the look and feel YOU want, using my input and expertise.
DO I NEED TO PREP THE WALL?
Depends on the wall.
However, I will let you know if anything is needed ahead of time and can work with you if you need help or guidance.
WHAT KIND OF PAINT DO YOU USE?
Professional grade paint, made to last. Depending on the surface application this could be high quality acrylics or builder grade latex.
IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
Sure is.
A deposit secures your project date and ensures that I devote my time to projects that will come to fruition. It protects both parties!
ABOUT ME.

I have been in the creative field in one facet or another for the entirety of my professional life.
Turns out art, theatre and a headstrong nature is hereditary.
My dad is a Technical Director, Roadie, Rigger and Jack-of-all trades in the world of theatre. After spending childhood sick-days backstage in the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center of Charlotte, I developed a reverence for the gritty logistics, unfathomable scale and awesome artistic talent that creates an immersive world.
I got the bug for large scale art in earnest during high school while being elected to facilitate a backdrop for a school production. This application of my art showed me the potential to transform a space and create a world where people find temporary respite. The realization that your personal work can impact others is intoxicating, transformative and had me hooked.
While I began my professional career as a scenic artist and designer, I discovered that education provided me with a secondary passion of building communities and guiding students to discovering their own individual creativity, value and power.
I taught high school technical theatre for several years and through that experience I became acutely aware of the importance of art in building community and pride in local neighborhoods while sharing impactful, valuable stories.
I have used the the well-earned organizational prowess from teaching and running that Technical Theatre department to work in the project management field for the past few years. While I feel that the project management field is integral to the success of projects, I sought the creative fulfillment that I had sidelined for the sake of a regular paycheck.
Now in a new stage of my life with my 2 young boys, I am rededicating my creative energy, realigning my path and hoping to show my kids that your passions are worth pursuing.
I love to help my clients realize a vision they are unsure how to express and by doing so, create spaces that are not only visually striking, but compelling and inspiring to their audience.
I would love to help you find the voice of your space through mural work and incorporation of custom art that brings new life to your neighborhood, your business, or your home.
